Your future role in FOSS

Our solutions add value to food production and as Data Analyst for FOSS in EMEA, you will have the opportunity to be part of our solutions’ journeys into the global market. This position is a unique opportunity to collaborate with our Regional VP of Sales & Marketing in setting direction for the EMEA Sales organizations.
You will help set the direction and create business opportunities
We are looking for a new, dedicated colleague who can assist our EMEA Sales Organizations by identifying opportunities to grow, follow up on sales activities and ultimately help expand our business. The essence of the job is, through data and dialogue with the markets, to create insights to FOSS own business, the competitor landscape and market drivers across industries and countries in the region. You will be reporting directly to the Regional VP of Sales and Marketing in EMEA.
Your primary tasks will include:
- Managing reporting on sales and competitive pressure across our subsidiaries
- Following market trends and industry insights in EMEA including competitor assessment
- Subject matter expert on market data analysis for the EMEA organization
- Assisting the Subsidiaries utilizing data and maintaining their sales data quality.
- Being the go-to/support person of the subsidiaries in their local sales activities.
- Carrying out market research to identify new leads and support our EMEA sales Organizations using internal and external market data
- Deep diving into local market data and identify/specify detailed actions/initiative and campaigns which can drive further growth
You will be employed in our Innovation center in Hillerød Denmark, and you will be working closely with our European Subsidiaries as well as the remaining FOSS organization. You like to travel and visiting colleagues & customers in Europe – expect 4-8 travel days per month.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a master’s degree in either economics, business or commercial or a technical discipline combined with some years of experience working with data, market analysis and competitor surveillance. The ideal candidate has:
- Experience with number crushing and data collection
- Experience with market analysis and competitor intelligence analysis
- Experience with analytical thinking when looking at data
- Good project management skills
- The ability to understand both numbers, commercial and technical aspects of our business
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Good English skills both written and orally
We picture you as a person with a pronounced analytical mindset, as well as curiosity and willingness to understand our customers and market drivers through data. You are a team-player who is also self-going, and work structured to condense insights to recommendations and activities that can be implemented. With excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, you can work with all levels of the FOSS organization as well as with our customers and partners.
